Dr Roger Schank
Dr Roger Schank is one of the world’s leading researchers in artificial intelligence, learning theory, cognitive science, and the building of virtual learning environments. His approach to learning involves helping people learn by doing and allowing students to make mistakes in a safe learning environment. He is the author of more than 20 books on learning, language, artificial intelligence, education, memory, reading, e-learning, and story telling.

Prof Salima Hashmi
Prof Salima Hashmi is Dean, School of Visual Arts at Beaconhouse National University, Lahore. She taught at the National College of Arts, Lahore, for 31 years and was its Principal for four years. She has presented papers on Pakistani art in conferences and seminars in Australia, UK, USA, France, Japan, India, Bangladesh and Singapore. Apart from her career in the arts she has worked as a trainer for primary and secondary school teachers.

Roohi Haq
Roohi Haq is Director of Studies at Beaconhouse. Mrs Haq has extensive experience as an educator, having started her career as a teacher in 1984. Over the years she has performed a number of key functions such as English Language Coordinator, Head of a Beaconhouse primary school in Rawalpindi, and Academic Coordinator for the Northern Region of Beaconhouse. She has served as Director of Studies of Beaconhouse since 1996.

Kasim Kasuri
Kasim Kasuri is the chief executive officer of the Beaconhouse School System. An ardent advocate for change in the prevailing education system, he has introduced many initiatives to improve teaching methodology in particular and schooling in general; he was also the driving force behind the ‘School of Tomorrow’ international conference.
